Salary: €400 per day (negotiable DOE)
Location: Switzerland with extensive international travel
Contract: Contractoral Basis
Rotation: 10 days on / 2 weeks off (team rotation of three)
Start Date: Mid-March (flexible)
CPS Private Staffing is representing a highly discreet UHNW family seeking an experienced Companion to join a structured and established support team.
The Principal requires a educated, calm, steady and emotionally intelligent presence. This is a dynamic international role suited to a confident individual who can provide consistency, stability and refined companionship within a private, fully staffed environment.
The position is Swiss-based with regular global travel, including yacht itineraries and multi-country schedules.
Job Description
The Companion will form part of a rotational team, working closely alongside trained carers and the wider household staff to ensure continuity, comfort and overall wellbeing.
This role requires someone mentally strong, grounded and composed — able to navigate fluctuating moods and maintain a reassuring presence at all times.
Duties
Provide high-level companionship and structured daily support
Maintain calm routine and emotional steadiness
Work collaboratively with existing carers and household team
Travel internationally, including extended stays on yachts
Drive confidently in foreign countries (comfortable driving various vehicles and both left and right-hand road systems)
Support general wellbeing and ensure safety at all times
Adapt to changing environments and schedules with professionalism
Maintain absolute discretion and confidentiality
Candidate Profile
Extensive experience working as a Companion within private households
Naturally composed, emotionally resilient and mentally strong
Calm, steady personality with quiet authority
Confident managing fluctuating moods and environments
Native English speaker
Approximately 40–60 years of age preferred
Active and physically capable
Flexible and fully available for rotational travel commitments
Well presented and polished
Discreet, loyal and committed long-term
