Rota Nanny – Private Residence

Salary: Approx. USD 110,000 per annum

Schedule: Rotational – 1 to 2 weeks on/off depending on home base

Location: Primarily Puerto Rico with international travel

Position Overview

An experienced and nurturing Rota Nanny is required to join a private family aboard their luxury yacht. The family spends most of their time in Puerto Rico, with several month-long international trips throughout the year. This role requires a calm, organised, and adaptable professional who can provide a structured, engaging, and safe environment for the children both onboard and ashore.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in UHNW or yacht-based environments, excellent communication skills, and the ability to integrate seamlessly within a family and crew setting. This is a highly professional household that values discretion, positivity, and a healthy lifestyle — candidates are expected to maintain professionalism at all times, including no alcohol consumption while on duty or onboard.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, high-standard childcare with a focus on wellbeing, learning, and development

• Create and manage daily routines, educational activities, and age-appropriate play

• Travel with the family and assist with packing, logistics, and transitions between land and sea

• Collaborate closely with the yacht crew, household team, and any co-nanny to ensure smooth continuity of care

• Maintain impeccable organisation of children’s wardrobes, toys, and travel essentials

• Uphold the family’s values of discretion, integrity, and professionalism

• Demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, and a calm, confident presence in dynamic situations

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a Rota Nanny within UHNW households, yachts, or international travelling families

• Confident caring for children across various ages and stages

• Fluent English; additional languages are advantageous

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Relevant childcare qualifications and valid first aid certification

• Professional conduct at all times

Contract Details

• Rotational schedule: 1–2 weeks on/off (flexible depending on home base)

• Annual salary: Approximately USD 110,000
