Salary: €4,500 Per Month

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Bosun to join our clients 50m private motor yacht operating a single Mediterranean season, with the vessel based in Italy during the winter period - this is a long-term position.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Bosun onboard a similar-sized vessel and possess strong leadership qualities, with the ability to guide, mentor and support a Junior Deckhand whilst maintaining high operational and presentation standards onboard.

This is a hands-on role requiring a motivated and career-driven individual who is looking for a long-term opportunity with strong progression potential. The successful candidate will be confident assisting with all deck operations, tender driving and bridge watchkeeping responsibilities. The most important aspect of this role is personality; someone who is polite, passionate about their role and a true team player with positive energy.

The vessel also operates with a chase boat and separate Captain, therefore candidates with additional operational knowledge and flexibility within deck operations are highly valued.

Duties Include:

• Assisting with the day-to-day management of deck operations

• Supervising and supporting the Junior Deckhand

• Tender driving and water sports operations

• Assisting with bridge watchkeeping schedules

• Deck maintenance and exterior presentation standards

• Assisting with docking, anchoring and manoeuvring operations

• Supporting guest operations throughout the Mediterranean season

• Maintaining safety procedures and operational efficiency onboard

Requirements:

• Previous Bosun experience onboard similar-sized yachts essential

• Diver certification preferred

• Strong large tender driving experience

• OOW or similar certification advantageous

• Confident assisting with bridge watchkeeping duties

• Professional, proactive and team-orientated attitude

• Looking for a long-term commitment onboard

• EU Passport essential due to owner requirements
