Assistant Palace Manager

Reports to: Palace Manager
Overview:
We are looking for an exceptional senior hospitality professional to serve as the Assistant to the Palace Manager — acting as the number two within a prominent private palace in Abu Dhabi. This role requires someone with a strong background in VVIP private palaces, ultra-luxury hotels, or prestigious estates, with the ability to manage complex operations with discretion, precision, and cultural sensitivity. As well as to follow direction from the Palace Manager - someone who would work well under pressure, with elegance in service and administrative tasks, as well as fluent English and French beneficial. The ideal candidate we believe would work best for our client would be someone who has a personality that is driven by exceeding expectations and can work well in a team, as well as being able to follow orders without an ego.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Palace Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations of the residence
Act as second-in-command, stepping in as required in the Palace Manager’s absence
Coordinate across departments including F&B, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Security
Liaise with VIP family members, guests, and private office personnel with utmost professionalism
Ensure service excellence is maintained across all touch points
Monitor staff performance, assist with scheduling, logistics, and standards implementation
Uphold confidentiality, discretion, and the highest levels of etiquette
Ideal Candidate:
Minimum 5 years in senior hospitality or private estate management roles
Background in luxury hotels, private estates, and/or palaces
Culturally aware, service-oriented, and able to lead large teams
Fluent in English (Arabic or French is an advantage)
Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Highly adaptable and emotionally intelligent

Accommodation provided, return flights per year, annual vacation up to 30 days, meals on shift
